A creaDve worker is for someone who can make a unique contribuDon to the UK’s creaDve industries, for example, as an actor, dancer, musician, entertainer, fashion model or film crew. Technical or support staff (‘entourage’) may accompany eligible creaDve workers.
The CreaDve Worker visa is not a route to sealement, but applicants can extend their stay up to a maximum of two years with the same employer.
You must saDsfy the decision maker that
You have an offer of a job as a creaDve worker from a sponsor that holds a valid Temporary Work – CreaDve Worker sponsor licence (which requires a valid CerDficate of Sponsorship for the role you wish to undertake);
You will be paid the minimum salary as set by Equity, PACT or BECTU (except for models, musicians or circuses);
You genuinely intend, and are able, to undertake the role for which you are being sponsored and do not intend to undertake other employment;
You have personal savings to support yourself in the UK;
Your applicaDon does not fall for refusal under the general grounds for refusal;
• You have provided a valid TB cerDficate, if required.
You can switch to a Temporary Work – CreaDve Worker visa if all of the following apply:
you’re in the UK as a Standard Visitor or for a Permiaed Paid Engagement.
you’ve been doing permiaed acDviDes in the creaDve sector
your sponsor gave you a CerDficate of Sponsorship before you came to the UK
CreaDve Worker can bring their dependents which include the spouse, unmarried partner and children under the age of 18.
